Bitter? Angry about having to search for a job? It’s likely showing up in your job search

Choose to reframe this as an opportunity instead of something that happened to you. Being hurt, angry, lonely, tired is completely understandable but if that’s where your focus is-your network and future employers will not want to be a part of it.

Keep your mental health in check. Get help if you need it.

Take ownership of your accomplishments and speak about them with confidence, not arrogance. Ask yourself:

What have I achieved?
How have I made an impact?
When have I been a leader?
How have I made a difference?

Get comfortable sharing accomplishments and the data/facts to support them. If it feels uncomfortable, embrace it until you’re comfortable and it comes naturally to you.
