Happy New Year! Merrfeld is greeting 2016 in style: We’re debuting a redesigned website at www.c3indy.com and offering new career services for the new year.
Our site is still your source for information about Merrfeld’s career and interview coaching and resume-writing services; topics that I tackle as a speaker or trainer; and lots of articles about career planning, business etiquette, job searches, interviewing how-to’s, networking and skills development.
But those resources have a fresh new look, and they’re accompanied by two brand-new career services:
The first is our Professional Resume and LinkedIn Critique. This is your chance to have an objective professional take a look at your resume and tell you what needs to change. If you know what you’re doing but just need someone to show you where to punch it up a bit, a resume and LinkedIn critique might be just what you’re looking for.
With this new career service, we’ll provide you a list of what we would do if we were writing your resume ourselves. We’ll suggest improvements and provide guidance on what information to include.
Even better, we’ll review your LinkedIn profile as well and identify changes and updates that will get you noticed by potential employers and peers. Because those potential employers are looking!
The Professional Resume and LinkedIn Critique is just $99. And not to worry: If you review our suggestions and decide within 30 days that you’d rather have Merrfeld do the updates for you, we’ll deduct the critique fee from our usual resume-writing fee. So there’s no risk if you think you want to give it a go yourself first.
Also new in 2016 is our Executive Interview Management Package, which allows those interviewing for an executive or C-level position to have a coach each step of the way. Watch for a full description of this new career service in our blog next week.
